Area Sales Manager (Multiple Locations)

ROLE
– Identify, evaluate, pitch and appoint new distributors in the assigned territory
– Activate newly appointed distributors and ramp them to productivity quickly
– Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for solar modules
– Drive primary and secondary sales through the distributor network
– Ensure distributor productivity, stock planning and repeat business
– Develop relationships with Distributor linked-EPC contractors, project developers and C&I rooftop clients
– Identify large project opportunities and support techno-commercial discussions
– Manage distributor agreements and channel-conflict resolution
– Maintain sales forecasting and demand planning for the territory
– Track competitor pricing, product positioning and channel schemes
– Provide market feedback on demand trends and new opportunities
– Support with data for MIS reports
– Monitor inventory movement and demand planning

REQUIREMENTS
– Graduate in any discipline
– Minimum 3 years of experience in channel / distribution sales in solar or related industry
– Proven track record of appointing and managing distributors
– Good communication and negotiation skills
– Strong local market network and deep territory knowledge
– Local language fluency
– Working knowledge of MS Excel preferred
