ROLE
– Handle electrical utility maintenance and project execution activities.
– Perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment including HT/LT Motors, Power & Distribution Transformers, HT/LT Switchgears, HT & LT Breakers, PCC/MCC Panels, Busducts and associated electrical systems.
– Carry out relay testing, relay configuration, relay setting and commissioning.
– Ensure proper electrical protection coordination and troubleshoot protection-related issues.
– Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical protection systems, including numerical relays.
– Work on VFDs, motors and drives, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
– Monitor and troubleshoot harmonics and power-quality-related issues.
– Handle DG Sets, synchronization and associated electrical systems.
– Work on SCADA systems for monitoring and control of electrical equipment.
– Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for HT/LT electrical systems.
– Support HT/LT shutdown planning, electrical isolation and safe maintenance practices.
– Coordinate with contractors/vendors during electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
– Prepare and maintain electrical maintenance records, testing reports, commissioning documents and equipment history.
– Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, SOPs, LOTO procedures and statutory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
– B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
– 3–8 years of relevant experience in Electrical Utility Maintenance, Projects, Testing & Commissioning, preferably in manufacturing, process, power, renewable energy or large industrial setup.
– Strong hands‑on experience with HT/LT electrical systems.
– Proficiency in relay testing, relay configuration, and commissioning.
– Knowledge of electrical protection systems and protection coordination.
– Experience with VFDs, motor drives, and fault diagnosis.
– Familiarity with harmonics and power quality analysis.
– Experience handling DG sets and synchronization.
– Experience with SCADA systems for monitoring and control.
– Ability to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on HT/LT systems.
– Experience coordinating with contractors/vendors.
– Ability to prepare and maintain maintenance records and documentation.
– Knowledge of electrical safety standards, SOPs, LOTO procedures and statutory compliance.
