– Design and optimize AC BOS systems for renewable energy projects, focusing on efficiency and reliability
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs with other engineering disciplines and meet project timelines

– Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, Single line diagram, logics, control philosophy, schematics, evaluation of technical bids, vendor drawing approval for LT Switchgear, HT Switchgear, 33kV HT cables, 1.1kV LT cables & 1.5kV DC cables, LV Busduct, Earthing Strips & rods, Earthing compound, 33kV Joint and Termination Kit
– Design and optimize solar plant earthing and lightning protection systems, including earthing and lightning calculations, as well as switchyard earthing calculations
– Prepare earthing layouts for Switchyard, MCR & HT SWGR room, DC field plant etc
– Develop electrical layouts and engineering designs for Main control room, HT Switchgear room, Inverter station, HT cable routing layout, release of drawing for construction
– Conduct factory inspections and site visits to ensure proper execution and compliance with AC-side engineering designs
REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering or related fields
– Knowledge of Electrical engineering principles
– Knowledge of Renewable energy systems
– Knowledge of Power generation and distribution
– Knowledge of AC system design
– Knowledge of Electrical component analysis
– AutoCAD Certification is preferred
– Project management skills

Job Description Job Objective/Purpose The AC BOS Design role is pivotal in developing and optimizing the Balance of System (BOS) designs for alternating current (AC) applications in renewable energy projects, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in electrical design principles and best practices Job Responsibility In-depth knowledge of AC side engineering for solar plants, from solar field design to the evacuation system. Preparation of technical specifications, BOQs, Single line diagram, logics, control philosophy, schematics, evaluation of technical bids, vendor drawing approval for LT Switchgear, HT Switchgear, 33kV HT cables, 1.1kV LT cables & 1.5kV DC cables, LV Busduct, Earthing Strips & rods, Earthing compound, 33kV Joint and Termination Kit. Expertise in designing and optimizing solar plant earthing and lightning protection systems, including earthing and lightning calculations, as well as switchyard earthing calculations.
