Job Description Group Company: Praj Industries Limited Designation: Engineer_BUSF Office Location: Pune Position description: Develop all proposals for the SAF enquiries, liase with inter-departmental estimation teams and compile final estimation of the enquiry & work closely with the business leaders to help bid and win new business for the company. Primary Responsibilities: Engage with the customers as and when required to understand their requirements and be a part of techno-commercial discussions. Ensure proposals are first time right - of good quality, technically sound and competitive; leading to order wins. Monitor and review critical assumptions to ensure accuracy & completeness in estimation with respect to bid requirements. Assist in analyzing the bid requirements against the proposal outline to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to the customer’s issues and needs. Conduct regular proposal progress status meetings and maintain the proposal schedule. Conduct CFT meetings for big value projects and EPC type of projects and ensure fast responses with respect to time lines agreed. Identify risk and finalize risk mitigation plans accordingly. Ensure timely clarifications are provided to the client post tender submission and also by participating in post bid discussion. Facilitating open and effective communication among customer, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Educational qualifications preferred Degree: BE Mechanical / Chemical Required work experience Years of experience: 8-12 years Required Competencies / Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of Praj know-how. Working knowledge of preparing proposals; experience in estimation is added advantage. Cost Conscious and eye for detail to identify errors. Financial and Commercial Acumen.
