Job Description Group Company: Praj GenX Limited Designation: Engineer - PPC Office Location: Mangalore Position description: The PPC OTIF (On Time In Full) Assurance role is dedicated to ensuring that all production planning and control activities align with the objective of delivering products to customers on time and in full, without compromising quality. This position involves closely monitoring production schedules, inventory levels, and logistics to guarantee that customer orders are fulfilled as promised. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement PPC strategies that ensure on-time and in-full delivery of products to customers. Monitor production schedules and work closely with the manufacturing team to adjust plans as needed to meet delivery commitments. Analyze inventory levels and production forecasts to optimize stock availability and minimize shortages. Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and products. Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve OTIF performance. Additional Responsibilities: Conduct root cause analysis for any OTIF failures and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Engage with sales and customer service teams to provide accurate delivery timelines and manage customer expectations. Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing production efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality. Prepare and present regular reports on OTIF performance to senior management and stakeholders.
