Financial Reporting & Consolidation Lead
ROLE
– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual standalone and consolidated financial statements.
– Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and other applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
– Review and analyze financial data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
– Prepare schedules, notes to accounts, and supporting documentation for financial statements.
– Coordinate with various finance teams to ensure timely closure of books.
– Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
– Review general ledger balances and ensure appropriate accounting treatment of transactions.
– Monitor provisions, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
– Ensure timely reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts.
– Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and consultants.
– Prepare audit schedules, financial disclosures, and supporting documents.
– Facilitate smooth completion of statutory, tax, and internal audits.
– Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting policies.
– Support preparation of consolidated financial statements for multiple entities.
– Handle inter-company reconciliations and elimination entries.
– Assist in group-level financial reporting and management reporting requirements.
– Prepare periodic financial reports and analytical presentations for senior management.
– Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
– Support Board, Investor, and lender reporting requirements.
– Assist in preparation of annual reports and financial disclosures.
– Support filing and compliance requirements under Companies Act and other regulatory frameworks.
– Ensure timely submission of financial information to stakeholders, lenders, and regulatory authorities.
– Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and assess their impact.
– Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in financial reporting.
– Strengthen reporting controls and standardization across finance processes.
– Support ERP implementation and finance transformation initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
– Strong knowledge of Ind AS, financial reporting, and corporate accounting.
– Good understanding of Companies Act, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
– Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
– High attention to detail and accuracy.
– Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Experience in handling standalone and consolidated financial statements.
– Exposure to audit coordination and statutory reporting.
– Experience in infrastructure, renewable energy, EPC, manufacturing, or large corporate environments will be preferred.
– Familiarity with treasury, project accounting, and group reporting will be an added advantage.
