ROLE
– Assessment of fire system at the campus
– Coordination with stakeholders for legal requirements and support client for statutory obligations such as Fire CC renewal, GAS Bank Fire NOC renewal, and organizing periodical fire safety training for employees
– Emergency response coordination
– Inspection as per checklist on LSS
– Preparation and conducting mock drills
– Coordination with vendors for servicing
– Lead and execute EHS activities to ensure effective execution of EHS management procedures, regulations, audits, inspections, and projects
– Obtain legal permits related to EHS
– Make recommendations to improve current EHS programs and policies
– Act as a subject matter expert in projects and support less complex investigations as a member of cross‑functional teams
– Contribute to a zero‑injury culture and provide on‑the‑job training for EHS topics to site personnel
– Create safety awareness among site personnel and contractors and perform observation rounds
– Conduct periodical gap assessments and fire safety audits in the facility to ensure up‑to‑date compliance
– Work permit approval and zero tolerance enforcement
– Coordinate with site team and update fire impairment tracker
– Conduct periodical trainings, promote fire safety awareness, and support system implementation enhancements
– Adapt available technology to meet fire safety expectations
– Drive effective results through excellent presentation skills and continual improvement efforts
– Communicate effectively and interpret scenarios appropriately
– Collaborate with authorities

REQUIREMENTS
– Appropriate qualification in fire safety portfolio
– Relevant trainings and certifications authorizing work as a Fire Officer
– Strong knowledge of EHS management procedures, regulations, audits, and inspections
– Ability to obtain legal permits related to EHS
– Capability to make recommendations for improving EHS programs and policies
– Experience acting as a subject matter expert in projects and supporting investigations within cross‑functional teams

-Excellent communication skills and appropriate interpretation of the scenarios.

-Collaborate with authorities.

-Having the appropriate qualification in Fire safety portfolio and relevant trainings & certifications to have authorization to work as Fire Officer.
