ROLE
– Supervise security staff, assign and monitor work assignments, and provide training in daily security procedures, customer service, basic life safety, and first aid.
– Maintain and update security policies, checklists, and procedure manuals.
– Possess working knowledge of building security panels and fire and life safety code requirements.
– Manage manpower records for on‑roll and contract staff, including training, compliance documents, and scheduling details.
– Ensure weekly fire drills are conducted for security and unit staff.
– Patrol designated areas, monitor elevators, ingress/egress points, surveillance equipment, access control points, and alarms; control building access and monitor visitor activities.
– Conduct security investigations and prepare incident reports; track material movement and manage lost‑and‑found inventory.
– Communicate regularly with Property Manager, team members, and clients regarding events, incidents, concerns, recommendations, and staffing needs.
– Approve and interview hiring of contract security staff personnel.
– Provide customer‑related briefings to all site employees.
– Conduct weekly meetings with vendor operations head and share minutes of meeting with Property Manager and client.
– Review after‑hours security reports and monitor staff performance.
– Coordinate emergency response with tenants, administration staff, and clients; arrange transfer of injured persons to hospitals and liaise with doctors and legal bodies.
– Draft disaster management plans in coordination with site team members and Property Manager.
– Play a key role in emergencies such as fire evacuations and human crises.
– Monitor and participate in performance/behaviour meetings for contract staff.
– Implement and manage budgets related to security requirements and staffing.
– Prepare and execute fire and life‑safety evacuation drills and related trainings for team members and occupants.
– Conduct rescue, firefighting, and salvage operations at fire scenes; determine trapped individuals and secure their rescue.
– Perform lift evacuation and rescue drills periodically; secure affected structures to prevent rekindling.
– Inventory equipment after suppression, record equipment left on site, and complete incident reports.
– Attend and provide information for pre‑fire planning studies; maintain updated knowledge of pre‑fire plans.
– Liaise with government authorities for periodic renewal of NOCs.
– Report and maintain records of all site incidents; keep checklists and records updated for fire equipment maintenance and training.

REQUIREMENTS
– Working knowledge of building security panels and fire and life safety code requirements.
– Experience supervising security staff and managing contract personnel.
– Ability to conduct training in security procedures, customer service, basic life safety, and first aid.
– Skills in preparing and updating security policies, checklists, and manuals.
– Competence in conducting security investigations and preparing incident reports.
– Strong communication skills for regular interaction with Property Manager, team members, clients, and vendors.
– Capability to coordinate emergency response, including medical evacuation and liaison with legal bodies.
– Experience drafting disaster management and emergency evacuation plans.
– Ability to manage security budgets and staffing requirements.
– Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment, access control systems, and alarms.
– Experience performing fire scene equipment set‑up, rescue, firefighting, and salvage operations.
– Knowledge of pre‑fire planning studies and procedures for NOC renewal with government authorities.
– Ability to conduct weekly fire drills, lift evacuation drills, and maintain related training records.

What this job involves
You will be in charge of the safety and security aspects of your designated site. Your role will be to prevent Security lapses and be the first responder to emergency and non-emergency situations. Security planning risk assessment & formulating effective guarding strategies are some of your key responsibility areas. Your role will incorporate managing the following:
 

·       Supervising security staff assigning/monitoring work assignments and providing training in daily security procedures customer service skills basic life safety and first aid etc.

·       Maintaining and updating security policies checklists and procedure manual.

·       Having a working knowledge of all current building’s security panels fire and life safety code requirements.

·       Managing all manpower records for on-roll and contract staff (training compliance documents and scheduling details)

·       Ensuring fire drill is carried out every week for security and unit staffs.

·       Physically patrolling the designated area (focusing on elevators and all areas of ingress/egress); using surveillance equipment access control points and alarms. Control buildings access and monitor activities of visitors.

Conducting Security investigations and preparation of Incident report.
Tracking of material movement and stock of lost and found.

·       Regular and ongoing communication with Property Manager/Team members/Clients regarding events incidents concerns of Security Team members recommendations staffing needs etc.

·       Approving and interviewing hiring of contract security staff personnel.

·       Ensuring customer related briefing is provided to all site employees.

·       Carrying out weekly meetings with vendor operations head and share M.O.M with PM and client.

·       Reviewing security after hour’s reports and monitor staff performance.

·       In case of emergency coordinate with the respective tenant /administration staff/client and ensure quick movement/transfer the injured person to the nearest hospital by coordinating with and handing-over to local doctors / local legal bodies etc.

Drafting disaster management plan in co-ordination with site team members & Property Manager.

·       Playing a key role emergency (i.e. fire evacuations human crisis etc).

·       Monitoring and being a part of performance/behaviour related meetings regarding contract staff

·       Implements and provides budgets relating to the security requirements and staffing.

Performing equipment set-up upon arrival at a fire scene.
Dispatching and accompanying ERT (Emergency response team).
Preparing plans and executing (fire and life safety) evacuation drills and other fire safety related trainings to the team members and occupants available in the premises.
Completing appropriate rescue firefighting and salvage operations at a fire scene.
Using established procedures to determine if individuals are trapped within a burning facility and taking appropriate actions to secure their rescue.
Performing the lift evacuation and rescue drill periodically.
Securing affected structure to prevent rekindling.
Taking inventory of all equipment after suppression has been achieved recording all equipment which must be left at the site and incident report.
Attending and providing information for pre-fire planning studies and maintaining an updated knowledge of pre-fire plans.
Liaison with Government authorities for periodic renewal of the NOC’s.
Report and maintain record of all the incidents of site.
Keep all the checklists and records updated related to Fire equipment’s maintenance and training records.

You will be working on Palm Beach Residency which is a residential located at Nerul Navi Mumbai.
