ROLE
– Develop and implement overall quality strategy and systems aligned with business and production objectives.
– Lead the Quality team across supplier, development, and manufacturing functions.
– Build a strong culture of continuous improvement, problem‑solving, and proactive defect prevention across all departments.
– Define and enforce quality standards for incoming materials, in‑process inspection, and finished electronics goods.
– Drive process capability improvement and lead PFMEA, control plan, and process validation activities.
– Establish supplier quality programs, including audits and corrective action management.
– Manage quality gates throughout the product life cycle: prototype, validation, and SOP stages.
– Lead DVP&R tracking and ensure customer quality requirements are translated into design controls.
– Oversee PPAP documentation and approvals for OEM customers.
– Act as the primary quality representative for all customer and internal audits.
– Maintain excellent communication with OEM customers on quality performance and improvement plans.
– Implement traceability systems, warranty analysis, root‑cause analysis, and 8D problem‑solving frameworks.
REQUIREMENTS
– B.E/B.Tech or higher in Electronics, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
– 10–15 years of experience in quality management within Automotive Electronics or Tier‑1 manufacturing.
– Proven record in managing both production and development quality teams.
– Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and 8D methodologies.
– Hands‑on experience with IATF 16949 certification and customer‑facing audits.
– Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
– Existing knowledge of BMS, Chargers and/or IoT preferred.
– Strategic thinking with attention to operational detail.
– Strong communication and customer management abilities.

Job Description - Head of Quality Job Title: Head of Quality Experience Level: 10–15 years Location: NCR (Greater Noida) Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Quality Management & Leadership - Develop and implement the overall quality strategy and systems aligned with the company’s business and production objectives. - Lead the Quality team across supplier, development, and manufacturing functions. - Build a strong culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and proactive defect prevention across all departments. Manufacturing & Supply Quality - Define and enforce quality standards for incoming materials, in-process inspection, and finished electronics goods. - Lead implementation of quality management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001). - Drive process capability improvement and lead PFMEA, control plan, and process validation activities. - Establish supplier quality programs, including audits and corrective action management. Product Development Quality - Collaborate closely with engineering teams during new product development (NPD) to ensure design-for-quality and compliance with APQP processes. - Manage quality gates throughout the product life cycle: prototype, validation, and SOP stages. - Lead DVP&R tracking and ensure customer quality requirements are translated into design controls. - Oversee PPAP documentation and approvals for OEM customers.
