– Proven experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards; lead auditor certification is a significant advantage.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
– Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and HSE audits.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
– Strong presentation and training delivery skills.

Job Summary
As an HSE Management Systems Specialist at Hitachi Ltd. you will be instrumental in developing implementing and maintaining robust Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) management systems across our operations. You will ensure compliance with global and local regulations Hitachi standards and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Job Responsibilities
Develop implement and maintain the company's HSE Management System (e.g. ISO 45001 ISO 14001) in line with Hitachi's global policies and industry best practices.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess HSE compliance identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Lead the investigation of HSE incidents near misses and non-conformities determining root causes and implementing preventative measures.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees at all levels fostering a strong safety culture.

Collaborate with various departments (e.g. engineering operations HR) to integrate HSE considerations into all business processes.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.
13-19 years of experience in HSE management systems development and implementation preferably within a multinational or industrial environment.
Proven experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards; lead auditor certification is a significant advantage.
Strong understanding of relevant HSE legislation and regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA local environmental laws).
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments incident investigations and HSE audits.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong presentation and training delivery skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
