ROLE
– Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound domestic logistics operations.
– Plan and coordinate transportation of materials, components, and finished goods across locations.
– Coordinate with transporters, courier partners, and logistics service providers.

– Ensure timely movement of materials while maintaining cost efficiency.

– Coordinate customs clearance and ensure timely clearance of shipments.
– Ensure compliance with applicable import/export regulations, customs requirements, and trade documentation.
– Track international shipments and proactively resolve delays or clearance issues.

Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound domestic logistics operations. | Plan and coordinate transportation of materials, components, and finished goods across locations. | Coordinate with transporters, courier partners, and logistics service providers. | Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, PODs, and transportation costs. | Ensure timely movement of materials while maintaining cost efficiency. | Resolve transportation, delivery, and shipment-related issues. | Manage international import and export shipments from booking to final delivery. | Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, airlines, and overseas vendors/customers. | Handle air, sea, and courier shipments based on business requirements. | Manage import/export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Shipping Bill, Bill of Entry, and other required documents. | Coordinate customs clearance and ensure timely clearance of shipments. | Ensure compliance with applicable import/export regulations, customs requirements, and trade documentation. | Track international shipments and proactively resolve delays or clearance issues. | Plan logistics requirements based on procurement, production, sales, and project schedules. | Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Production, Finance, Sales, and other internal teams. | Monitor inventory movement and ensure timely availability of materials. | Maintain accurate shipment and logistics records. | Develop and maintain logistics SOPs and processes. | Manage relationships with transporters, freight forwarders, customs brokers, courier companies, and other logistics vendors. | Negotiate freight rates and service terms with logistics partners. | Evaluate vendor performance based on cost, service quality, delivery timelines, and reliability. | Identify opportunities for freight cost reduction and logistics optimization. | Verify logistics invoices and coordinate with Finance for timely payment processing. | Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all domestic and international shipments. | Maintain records related to imports, exports, customs, freight, insurance, and transportation. | Coordinate with Finance and relevant teams for documentation required for payments, customs, and audits. | Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable statutory requirements. | Lead and manage the logistics team and allocate responsibilities effectively. | Monitor daily logistics activities and operational performance. | Prepare and present logistics MIS and reports covering shipment status, freight costs, delays, vendor performance, and other key metrics. | Establish and track KPIs for logistics operations. | Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes and turnaround time. | Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or a related field. | 6–10 years of relevant experience in domestic and international logistics. | Strong knowledge of import/export processes and customs clearance. | Experience working with freight forwarders, CHA/customs brokers, transporters, and courier partners. | Good understanding of air and sea freight operations. | Strong knowledge of logistics and import/export documentation. | Good understanding of Excel, ERP systems, and logistics MIS. | Strong negotiation, coordination, and vendor management skills. | Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. | Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. | Experience in manufacturing, automotive, EV, electronics, battery, or engineering industries will be preferred. | Experience handling time-sensitive and high-value technical/electronic components will be an advantage. | Exposure to ERP-based inventory and logistics processes is preferred.
