ROLE
– Plan, organize, and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for all plant machinery and equipment.
– Ensure minimum downtime of machines and uninterrupted production operations.
– Diagnose equipment faults and coordinate timely repair and replacement of parts.
– Maintain machinery performance through regular inspection, servicing, and calibration.
– Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for production equipment and utilities.
– Monitor machine performance and identify potential failures using predictive maintenance practices.
– Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and equipment history.
– Lead and supervise the maintenance team including technicians and engineers.
– Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
– Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff.
– Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems, compressors, HVAC systems, and other utilities.
– Monitor factory infrastructure and ensure maintenance of plant facilities and equipment safety systems.
– Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
– Implement cost-effective solutions to reduce breakdowns and maintenance costs.
– Work closely with production and quality teams to enhance operational efficiency.
– Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
– Maintain proper documentation related to maintenance activities and safety inspections.
– Support audits related to equipment safety and maintenance procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
– Strong knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
– Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance planning.
– Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Ability to analyze technical problems and implement effective solutions.
– Good documentation, planning, and organizational skills.
– Knowledge of industrial safety practices and compliance standards.
– B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
– 6–10 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment.
– Experience in managing maintenance teams and factory equipment operations.
