ROLE
– Create and implement maintenance strategies for electrical equipment in the plant
– Plan preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
– Identify potential risks and optimize maintenance processes
– Prepare list of all electrical/mechanical equipment and ensure smooth operation
– Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment failures
– Perform troubleshooting and basic programming support for PLC-controlled machines and automation systems
– Manage plant utilities including electrical systems, DG sets, air compressors, HVAC systems, water supply systems, lighting systems, and fire protection systems
– Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of HVAC systems
– Manage maintenance expenses budgeting for routine activities, equipment reconditioning/upgradation projects, low-cost automation integration
– Manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure they are properly trained and equipped
– Work closely with other teams to ensure maintenance activities align with overall plant goals and objectives
– Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
– Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Telangana Factories Rules, Fire Safety regulations, Environmental regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements
– Conduct workplace hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementation of mitigation measures
– Lead safety inspections, safety audits, and compliance reviews
– Organize safety induction and periodic safety training programs
– Conduct mock drills, emergency preparedness exercises, and evacuation programs
– Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions
– Monitor PPE compliance and promote a strong safety culture
– Coordinate with government authorities during inspections and ensure closure of observations
– Maintain all safety records, statutory registers, licenses, and compliance documentation
– Ensure readiness of fire protection and firefighting systems
– Conduct periodic inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency equipment
– Coordinate annual fire safety audits and compliance activities
– Monitor waste management, hazardous waste disposal, and environmental compliance requirements
– Ensure adherence to Pollution Control Board regulations
– Drive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives
– Ensure safety compliance of electrical installations, DG sets, compressors, HVAC systems, material handling equipment, and utilities
– Review infrastructure modifications from safety and compliance perspectives
– Ensure contractor and vendor safety compliance during project execution

REQUIREMENTS
– Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Government or NEBOSH / IOSH certification
– Minimum of 8-10 years post-qualification experience in plant maintenance/Machinery or Equipment in a manufacturing plant
– Experience in implementing preventive & predictive maintenance system
– Skilled in promoting & implementing TPM, CFT, Quality Circle, TPS, 5S, 3M, 3G, Kaizen activities, erection/commissioning
– Hands-on experience in PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems
– Strong understanding of MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and reliability engineering concepts
– Experience in Utility Management, including electrical distribution, DG sets, compressors, and HVAC systems
– Knowledge of HVAC maintenance, energy management, and utility optimization
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Accident investigation experience
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Proven strong organizational skills
