ROLE
– Prepare in-house engineering drawings such as SLDs, AC layouts, GA drawings, cable routing, and detailed electrical drawings for solar PV projects.
– Design and size AC-side equipment including inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgear, and evacuation systems.
– Perform electrical studies such as load flow analysis, relay settings, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and protection coordination.
– Develop technical specifications and datasheets for major plant equipment and systems.
– Ensure all designs comply with IS / IEC / CEA / DISCOM / SECI / NTPC standards and grid codes.
– Coordinate with utilities/DISCOMs for grid connectivity approvals and technical compliance.
– Support testing, commissioning, and grid synchronisation activities at site.
– Prepare and float RFQs, evaluate technical offers, and support techno-commercial finalisation of vendors.
– Support BOQ preparation, project costing, and budget estimation for solar projects.
– Provide preliminary DC-side support including string sizing, ILR optimization, DC cable sizing, and combiner box configurations.

REQUIREMENTS
– B.E./B.Tech – Electrical Engineering
– 6–8 years’ experience in solar EPC project engineering
– Strong hands-on experience in solar plant electrical design and drawing preparation
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP / SKM and PV Syst & Sketchup will be added advantage.
– Experience in RFQs, MDL, costing, and bidding support
– Good coordination and documentation skills
