ROLE
– To be involved in end-to-end design, engineering, and execution support for high-voltage switchyards and grid interconnection systems
– Develop layouts, equipment specifications, protection schemes, and ensure seamless integration with substations and grid infrastructure
– Lead engineering teams, coordinate with EPC stakeholders, and oversee construction and commissioning phases
– Design switchyard primary systems up to 400KV EHV SIS
– Design earthing and lightning protection systems
– Design evacuation systems including transmission line interfaces
– Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and energization
– Manage stakeholders with internal & external stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS
– 5-10 years of experience in renewable energy sector
– Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
– Strong expertise in HV/EHV switchyard and substation design
– In-depth knowledge of Protection systems and relay coordination & Grid interconnection and evacuation systems
– Understanding of SCADA/SAS integration for primary engineering interface
– Hands-on experience of all switching schemes for 132KV, 220 KV & 400KV
– Experience with AIS & GIS EHV substation design & engineering for green field and extension work
– Knowledge of standard IS/IEC/CBIP/NFPA for switchyard

Job Role · It requires technical authority for switchyard design and engineering, responsible for developing layouts, equipment specifications, protection schemes, and ensuring seamless integration with substations and grid infrastructure. The role requires leadership of engineering teams, coordination with EPC stakeholders, and oversight during construction and commissioning phases. Job Responsibility Switchyard Design & Engineering upto 400KV EHV SIS Design earthing and lightning protection systems Exposure to testing of make relays at site Design evacuation systems including transmission line interfaces Integrate switchyard primary systems with SCADA and substation automation systems (SAS) Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and energization Stakeholder management with internal & external stakeholders Understanding and hands-on experience of all switching schemes for 132KV, 220 KV & 400KV Worked on AIS & GIS EHV substation design & engineering for green field and extension work. Well-versed with complete standard IS/IEC/CBIP/NFPA for switchyard. Work Experience · 5-10 years of experience in renewable energy sector.
