– Building out SharePoint management of artefacts
– Coordinating with production support and central RDARR team to identify recurring issues and drive timely fixes
– Liaising with regulators and oversight teams
– Compiling and reporting compliance status to relevant meetings
– Providing ad‑hoc reporting to support management requests
– Assessing the current data framework
– Liaising with stakeholders to fix gaps and implement a robust data management framework
REQUIREMENTS
– University degree
– Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services risk functions with data governance
– Strong understanding of regulatory environment, frameworks and compliance requirements, especially BCBS 239
– Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with global stakeholders
– Ability to multi‑task and deliver under tight deadlines
– Commitment to self‑development and growth
– Proficiency with analysis and communication tools
– Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows, and apply critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Job Title: Market Risk Data Governance - Associate
Location: Mumbai India
Role Description
Market & Valuation Risk Management (MVRM) provides an independent view of market risks to Deutsche Bank’s senior management and manages Deutsche Bank’s Market Risk position in an independent and neutral way.
The Market Risk Analysis and Control (MRAC) function is responsible for the provision of all official market risk metrics and core analysis in support of risk management decision making on behalf of the Market Risk Management department.
The team has a global presence with staff located in London New York Berlin Singapore Mumbai and Pune.
This role is within the Data Quality and Governance team is responsible for implementation and up-keep of the Data Governance framework specifically embedding the compliance with BCBS239 regulation. The team is responsible for issue identification and driving remediations and automation of manual processes.

Your key responsibilities
Ensuring efficient and effective operation of the relevant Operating Committees Forums and Council to demonstrate compliance with the BCBS 239 framework
Conducting a periodic review of the governance framework.
Preparing meeting packs reviewing with meeting chair and distribution in advance of meeting. This will require coordination across multiple teams both internal and external of MRM.
Recording documenting and distributing meeting minutes.
Recording meeting actions following up on progress and track status
Manage SharePoint sites to store meeting artefacts.
Collation and management of the required artefacts to demonstrate compliance with the BCBS 239 framework
Track artefacts and associated ownership
Conduct annual Self-Assessment identify Gaps and remediation plans.
Monitor the compliance dashboards to recurring non green (RNG) breaches.
Building out SharePoint management of artefacts management
Coordinate with the production support and the central RDARR team to drive identification of Recurring issues and their fixes in a timely manner.
Liaise with regulators another oversight teams.
Compile reports
Reporting of compliance status to relevant meetings
Ad hoc reporting to support management requests
Data Management
Assess the current Data Framework
Liaise with stakeholders to fix Gaps and implement a robust data management framework.
Your skills and experience
University degree with appropriate professional experience.
At least 7 years of experience working in Financial Services – Risk functions with Data Governance..
Excellent stakeholder management skills and communication skills; ability to articulate related topics with global stakeholders.
A committed collaborator with the motivation to work in a dynamic international and diverse environment.
Able to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines.
A committed and motivated individual for self-development and growth
A strong understanding of the regulatory environment frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services especially BCBS 239.
