ROLE
– Manage 3 or 4 workstations and oversee operations to ensure safety and efficiency
– Coordinate material feeding, workload balancing, and implement 5S principles
– Ensure workstations operate according to established safety standards and protocols
– Monitor performance of operators and workstations to meet production targets and quality standards
– Provide training and support to operators to improve skills and knowledge
– Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of workstations to prevent breakdowns
– Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity
– Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to meet organizational needs
– Manage schedules and workloads of operators to ensure adequate coverage and timely task completion
– Communicate effectively with operators and stakeholders to address issues and concerns
– Monitor quality of output and safety
– Coordinate with Methods Engineering and Feeder cells to maximize output
– Resolve issues faced by workstation managers
– Ensure discipline on the shop floor
– Report to the designated team and department

REQUIREMENTS
– Experience as a manager of a cell of machines in the heavy automobile industry
– MS Office skills
– General intelligence and smartness
– CNC Programming skills
– Knowledge of Kan-ban, JIT, Jisu Hozen, SMED, and quality measurements
– Machining and fabrication skills
– Tooling skills
– Physical abilities for the job
– Required certifications and training
– Degree in a relevant field
– Required years of experience in the industry
