Job Description Group Company: Praj GenX Limited Designation: PGMF _Manager Office Location: Position description: To manages 3 or 4 workstation and will generally involve overseeing the operations of the workstations and ensuring that they are being operated safely and efficiently, and that the workstation managers have the support they need to perform their jobs effectively. Also the coordination of material feeding, workload balancing, and implementing 5S principles. Primary Responsibilities: Ensuring that the workstations are being operated according to established safety standards and protocols. Monitoring the performance of the operators and workstations to ensure that they are meeting production targets and quality standards Providing training and support to the operators to improve their skills and knowledge. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of the workstations to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance Identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that the workstations are meeting the needs of the organization Managing the schedules and workloads of the operators to ensure that there is adequate coverage and that tasks are being completed on time. Communicating effectively with the operators and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly. Raw material feeding: Ensuring that raw materials are available when needed and that they are stored and handled safely and efficiently. This involves coordinating with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery and efficient inventory management Coordination between workstations: Ensuring that workstations are coordinated to optimize production and minimize bottlenecks. This involves monitoring the progress of each workstation and adjusting schedules and resources as needed to maintain a smooth workflow. 1 Workload balancing: Ensuring that workload is distributed evenly among the operators and workstations to avoid overloading and burnout. This involves monitoring workload and adjusting schedules and resources as needed to maintain a healthy and productive workforce. 1 1 5S: Implementing and maintaining 5S principles to optimize the organization and cleanliness of the workspace. This involves ensuring that tools and materials are properly organized and that the workspace is clean and free of clutter. This not only improves safety and efficiency but also boosts morale and pride in the workplace.
