ROLE
– Identifying the project activities in the pre-construction phase and construction phases like land acquisition, release of engineering documents, contracting milestones and preparation of pre-construction and construction phase schedules
– Monitoring & reporting progress of the pre-construction and construction phase activities and identifying critical path/ activities
– Co-ordinate with internal departments like Business Development, Engineering, Commercial for providing requisite inputs to the Construction Team
– Act as Single Point of Contact to the Site Construction team for all the deliverables from HO teams
– Organize and conduct review meetings with multifunction teams
– Create and track plans for all aspects of the project – including costs, schedules and quality and safety standards for wind projects
– Maintain close relationship with OEMs and conduct regular meetings with OEMs/vendors to track manufacturing progress to ensure timely material delivery to the site
– Recommend mitigation plans for to overcome delays/ risks

REQUIREMENTS
– Preferably with Project Management certifications
– Understanding the project execution sequence of large-scale Renewable Projects
– Experience of having worked at construction project sites and understanding of the challenges faced at the site in managing the contractor and local communities
– Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
– Proficiency in project management software and tools
– Strong communication and reporting skills
– Overall, 10-12 years of experience in power sector

4.  SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications
BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical)
Preferably with Project Management certifications
Functional Skills
Understanding the project execution sequence of large-scale Renewable Projects
Experience of having worked at construction project sites and understanding of the challenges faced at the site in managing the contractor and local communities
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong communication and reporting skills
Relevant and total years of Experience
Overall, 10-12 years of experience in power sector
Experience of 2-3 years at Wind Project sites (Desirable)
