ROLE
– Ensure safe handling, storage, and transportation of Biogas and Green Hydrogen as per PESO, Gas Cylinder Rules, and Explosives Act.
– Ensure adherence to Factories Act, Petroleum Rules, PESO, BIS, and Hazardous Waste Management Rules.
– Develop On-site Emergency Plans and conduct regular mock drills for gas leaks, hydrogen fires, and electrical emergencies.
– Promote a strong safety culture through behavioural safety programs.

REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
– NEBOSH IGC or equivalent – strongly preferred.
– First Aid, Fire Fighting, and HAZOP/QRA training will be an advantage.
– Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, hazardous area classification, and Indian statutory safety requirements.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
– Willingness to travel extensively across project sites in India.
