Senior Capital Formation Associate

Enfinity – Miami, United States

ROLE
– Own investment underwriting across the US pipeline: deep model reviews, critical assumptions checks, stress testing, and extensive Monte Carlo and scenario sensitivities.
– Act as a quality-control gate on investment analysis — validating model integrity, key value drivers, and downside cases before capital is committed.
– Prepare, review, and present IC memos that frame the thesis, risks, returns, and recommended structure for each opportunity.
– Act as a player-coach to a fast-developing analyst team — setting the bar for modeling and underwriting rigor, coaching juniors on technique, and quality-checking their analytical output.
– Lead financing transactions end-to-end — diligence, structuring, negotiation, and execution through close — across project finance, tax equity, and debt.
– Build and pressure-test institutional-grade financial models across the platform’s asset classes — utility-scale renewables, stand-alone battery storage, behind-the-meter generation, and co-located digital infrastructure for AI compute — spanning both development-stage and operating assets.
– Translate technical, commercial, and market inputs into defensible underwriting assumptions and risk-adjusted return expectations.
– Partner with the development, engineering, legal, and finance teams to diligence and de-risk opportunities ahead of IC.
– Conduct market research on power market fundamentals, merchant curves, interest rate environments, and tax equity dynamics to inform underwriting.
– Play a key role in scaling the platform — building the underwriting frameworks, tools, and standards that hold up as deal volume grows.

REQUIREMENTS
– BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree or CFA a plus.
– Demonstrated ownership of investment underwriting — building and critically reviewing project finance models, debt sizing, and DSCR/LLCR analysis, and pressure-testing key assumptions.
– Hands-on experience with stress testing, scenario analysis, and Monte Carlo sensitivities.
– Experience preparing and presenting IC memos or equivalent investment recommendations to a senior audience.
– Track record of leading, or playing a lead role in, financing transactions through financial close.
– Player-Coach Leadership: Sets the bar for modeling and underwriting rigor; coaches and quality-checks a high-potential analyst team without formal line authority and without micromanaging.
– Quality-Control Mindset: Relentless attention to detail and personal accountability for accuracy — the instinct to find the one assumption that breaks the model before results reach the IC or investors.
– Autonomy & Ownership: Operates independently in a lean team where senior members work as individual contributors; structures own workload and delivers reliable output with no management layer reviewing the work.
– Cross-Office Collaboration: Builds trusted day-to-day working relationships with the global team of Senior Analyst and Associate, keeping the cross-border collaboration interface seamless and analytical standards consistent across locations.
– Process & Systems Thinking: Drive to automate and standardize — improving current tools and processes rather than working around them, as part of the team’s transformation.
– Executive & Investor Presence: Credible presenting at senior leadership level; comfortable managing interfaces with long-term investors and existing shareholders on risk appetite, return thresholds, and portfolio strategy.
– Communication: Distills complex analysis into clear, concise, IC-ready recommendations, both written and verbal.
– Problem-Solving: Analyzes financial data, draws insights, and makes data-driven decisions under time pressure.
– Urgency & Adaptability: Comfortable operating with pace and ownership in a fast-scaling, multi-GW, high-growth environment.

BENEFITS
