ROLE
– Undertake contract review and requirements for piping engineering and ensure design documents align with project parameters.
– Conduct final comprehensive check of Equipment Layout, Plot Plan, Nozzle orientation, CLDs, Piping Layouts, General Arrangements, and Isometrics before issuance.
– Review pipe support locations, details, and tie‑in points for correctness and constructability.
– Prepare piping engineering deliverables such as layouts, plant plots, vendor drawing checks, piping GAs, isometrics, etc.
– Prepare and maintain formal checking reports, comment logs, and mark‑ups, ensuring design issues are tracked and closed out.
– Provide technical direction, guidance, and training to junior piping designers and checkers.
– Understand contracts, risk management, and change management.
– Apply technical knowledge of piping engineering for relevant sectors and industries.
– Work with piping components, dimensions, and material standards.
– Work with hygienic piping and stress analysis.
– Use 3D modeling software such as Plant 3D, E3D, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
– Educational qualification: ITI, Diploma, or BE Mechanical.
– Certifications: AutoCAD 2D, 3D.
– Knowledge of international design codes and standards

Job Description Designation: Senior Engineer Office Location: Praj Tower Position description: Primary Responsibilities: 1. Undertake contract review and requirements for piping engineering and ensure design documents is in line with project parameters. 2. Conduct the final, comprehensive check of Equipment Layout, Plot Plan, Nozzle oriattaion, CLDs, Piping Layouts, GAs (General Arrangement), and Isometrics before issuance. 3. Verify that all designs strictly adhere to international codes (e.g., ASME, API), project specifications, and company standards. 4. Perform detailed quality checks of the 3D model (using tools like Navisworks) for clash resolution, access, operability, and maintenance clearance. 5. Check and approve the Material Take-Off (MTO) / Bill of Materials (BOM) extracted from the drawings and model for accuracy and consistency with Piping Material Specifications (PMS). 6. Review pipe support locations, details, and all tie-in points for correctness and constructability. 7. Shall have working experience on preparing the piping engineering deliverables, (i.e. Layout, Plaot Plant, vendor drawing checking, Piping GA, isometrics, etc) 8. Prepare and maintain formal checking reports, comment logs, and mark-ups, ensuring all design issues are tracked and closed out. 9. Provide technical direction, guidance, and training to junior piping designers and checkers. Additional Responsibilities: 1. Understanding of Contracts, Risk management, Change management 2. Technical knowledge in the field of Piping Engineering applicable to sector & industries 3. Knowledge of Design Codes (ASME, DIN, EN), Standards & Regulations 4. Conversant with piping components & dimensions / material standards 5. Understanding of other engineering disciplines (civil, structure, instrumentation, static / rotary equipment & packages) 6. Conversant with Hygienic Piping & Stress Analysis 7. Awareness /working experience of 3D Modeling Software like Plant 3D,E3D, etc Educational qualifications preferred Degree: ITI, Diploma, BE Mechnical Required Certification/s: AutoCAD 2D, 3D Behavioral Competency 1. Good written & Oral communication skills. 2. Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel and MS Project) 3. Teamwork driving skills 4. Posses Innovative thinking skills
