Job Description Group Company: Praj Industries Limited Designation: Senior Engineer_Piping Office Location: Pune Position description: Support smooth execution of Engineering deliverables for projects through administration of E3D tool for use by Project Layout , Specifications group, Project 3D Model and providing daily administrative support to all the engineering functions. Primary Responsibilities: 1.Assess and build capability of 3D modelers accross the engineering functions. 2.Deliver accurate 3D databases for modeling in line with released project specifications. Ensure E3D modeling & detailing work is carried out as per specifications. 3.Ensure adequate controls and compliance to project workflow and specifications through procedure definition, access control, codes and practice framework . 4.Ensure high quality & accurate engineering outputs Reports, Drawings, BOM from E3D environment in line with project inputs customer requirements etc. 5.Estimate project requirements considering database creation and plan resource outlay for all projects in E3D environment. 6.Optimize software related costs through effective understanding of project requirements, constraints, cost and Project schedules. 7.Creating Master database , Functional Libraries as per project requirements. 8.Interface with users for application and resolutions. Additional Responsibilities: 1.Coordinate with software vendor company & IT department for procurement, renewal & annual maintence. 2.Database Management with Backup planning recovery whenever required. 3.Manage the 3D modeling software's efficiently to cater the project requirements. 4.Monitor 3D Modeling activities at specified intervals to ensure smooth execution of project & assess modeling performance of all 3D modelers. 5.Plan and implement improvements in quality and cost effectiveness of 3D Modeling work. 6.Provide necessary inputs to various interfacing activities. Example- BOM MS, Interfacing 3D Model. 7.Addon utilities creation to facilitate the user friendly interface . Educational qualifications preferred Field specialization: Piping Engineering Degree: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Required work experience Years of experience: 5 to 8 years Required Competencies: Technical Competencies- 1.AVEVA Engineering , E3D and AVEVA P & ID 2.Thorough knowledge Specifications, Catalogue, User Defined Attributes, Properties, Bolt Table, Material Text, detail text, skey etc. 3.Thorough knowledge and experience on E3D administration. Behavioral Competencies- 1.Self starter and Innovative approach 2.Eagar to learn and implement smart engineering across the team. 3.Lead the optimization projects for improving the E3D application. 4.Skill development and capability enhancement of the team.
