ROLE
– Lead complete HR operations for IPP project sites
– Act as the single HR point of contact for site leadership, project heads, and corporate HR
– Implement and ensure adherence to HR policies, SOPs, and frameworks issued by Corporate HR
– Maintain HR dashboards & MIS covering headcount, attrition, contractor strength, and compliance metrics
– Manage industrial relations across sites ensuring peaceful, disruption-free operations
– Handle contract labour, local labour issues and disputes, disciplinary actions, inquiries, and grievance redressal
– Proactively engage with local administration, labour department officials, and police authorities
– Drive employee engagement & communication initiatives at site level to improve morale and retention
– Ensure 100% statutory compliance under applicable central & state labour laws
– Monitor compliance of contractors and sub-contractors
– Coordinate inspections, audits, and submissions with labour authorities
– Maintain compliance documentation and ensure readiness for audits at all times
– Oversee large contract workforce across multiple IPP sites
– Ensure proper onboarding and documentation of contract labour
– Ensure compliance with wage payments and statutory benefits
– Support site hiring in coordination with TA team
– Drive performance management process implementation at site level
– Identify training & development needs for site staff and support L&D initiatives
– Support succession planning and capability building for site HR & admin teams
– Work closely with Project Directors, Construction, Engineering & Safety teams, Corporate HR, IR & Legal teams
– Translate corporate HR strategies into practical site-level execution
– Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership on people and labour matters

Job Description Key Responsibilities 1. HR Operations & Site HR Governance • Lead complete HR operations for IPP project sites including: o Manpower planning & mobilization o Recruitment o Onboarding & exits o Attendance, leave & shift governance o Employee lifecycle management • Act as the single HR point of contact for site leadership, project heads, and corporate HR. • Implement and ensure adherence to HR policies, SOPs, and frameworks issued by Corporate HR. • Maintain HR dashboards & MIS covering headcount, attrition, contractor strength, and compliance metrics. 2. Industrial Relations (IR) & Workforce Stability • Manage industrial relations across sites ensuring peaceful, disruption-free operations. • Handle: o Contract Labour, Local labour issues and disputes o Disciplinary actions, inquiries, and grievance redressal • Proactively engage with: o Local administration o Labour department officials o Police authorities (if required) • Drive employee engagement & communication initiatives at site level to improve morale and retention. 3. Statutory Compliance & Labour Law Management • Ensure 100% statutory compliance under applicable central & state labour laws, including but not limited to: o BOCW Act o Minimum Wages Act o PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity o Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act • Monitor compliance of contractors and sub-contractors: o Labour licenses o Statutory filings o Wage registers & muster rolls • Coordinate inspections, audits, and submissions with labour authorities. • Maintain compliance documentation and ensure readiness for audits at all times. 4. Contract Labour Management • Oversee large contract workforce across multiple IPP sites. • Ensure: o Proper onboarding and documentation of contract labour o Compliance with wage payments and statutory benefits o Safe and ethical labour practices • Partner with Procurement & Project teams for vendor compliance governance. • Address contractor-related labour risks proactively. 5. Talent Management & People Development • Support site hiring (staff & workmen) in coordination with TA team. • Drive performance management process implementation at site level. • Identify training & development needs for site staff and support L&D initiatives. • Support succession planning and capability building for site HR & admin teams. 6. Stakeholder Management & Leadership Partnering • Work closely with: o Project Directors / Site Heads o Construction, Engineering & Safety teams o Corporate HR, IR & Legal teams • Translate corporate HR strategies into practical site-level execution. • Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership on people and labour matters.
