ROLE
– Handle the end-to-end sourcing and supply chain function for utility-scale for transmission line and electrical packages under a self-EPC model
– Define and execute procurement strategy aligned with business goals and multi-GW annual execution targets
– Build a robust, scalable procurement organization across for transmission line and electrical packages
– Establish governance frameworks, policies, and approval matrices
– Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing procurement teams
– Lead sourcing across key categories: Transformers, switchgear, inverters, SCADA etc.
– Create strategy and execution plan for procuring Long lead and standardized items
– Store management and material reconciliation
– Develop category strategies for cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supply continuity
– Drive long-term contracts and strategic partnerships with OEMs and suppliers
– Deliver significant cost savings through: Strategic negotiations and volume leveraging
– Global sourcing and alternative supplier development
– Value engineering in collaboration with engineering teams
– Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors
– Develop strong supplier relationships and performance management frameworks
– Ensure vendor capability aligns with quality, timelines, and scalability requirements
– Ensure robust contract structures covering: Delivery timelines
– Warranty and performance guarantees
– Mitigate contractual and commercial risks
– Ensure material availability aligned with project schedules
– Drive coordination between procurement, logistics, and site teams
– Manage logistics strategy including imports, customs, and last-mile delivery
– Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively
– Partner closely with: Engineering for technical specifications and standardization
– Project execution teams for planning and material tracking
– Finance for budgeting, cash flow planning, and cost control
– BD/tendering teams for cost inputs during bidding
– Develop mitigation strategies including dual sourcing and inventory planning
– Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ESG standards
– Establish data-driven dashboards for spend analytics and vendor performance
– Improve procurement cycle time and process efficiency

REQUIREMENTS
– 15 years of experience in procurement within: Renewable energy / power / infrastructure sectors
– Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

Job Description Job Title: Sr.Manager – Procurement (Solar, Wind & BESS | Self-EPC) Location: India (Corporate Office with travel to project sites) Role Overview Handle the end-to-end sourcing and supply chain function for utility-scale for transmission line and electrical packages under a self-EPC model. The role is responsible for strategic sourcing, cost optimization, vendor partnerships, and supply chain reliability, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services to support multi-GW project execution. Key Responsibilities 1. Procurement Strategy & Leadership Define and execute procurement strategy aligned with business goals and multi-GW annual execution targets Build a robust, scalable procurement organization across for transmission line and electrical packages Establish governance frameworks, policies, and approval matrices Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing procurement teams 2. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Lead sourcing across key categories: Transformers, switchgear, inverters, SCADA etc. Create strategy and execution plan for procuring Long lead and standardized items. Store management and material reconciliation. Develop category strategies for cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supply continuity Drive long-term contracts and strategic partnerships with OEMs and suppliers 3. Contracting & Commercial Management Lead contract negotiations (technical + commercial) for high-value packages Ensure robust contract structures covering: Delivery timelines Liquidated damages (LDs) Warranty and performance guarantees Mitigate contractual and commercial risks 6. Supply Chain Planning & Execution Ensure material availability aligned with project schedules Drive coordination between procurement, logistics, and site teams Manage logistics strategy including imports, customs, and last-mile delivery Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with: Engineering for technical specifications and standardization Project execution teams for planning and material tracking Finance for budgeting, cash flow planning, and cost control BD/tendering teams for cost inputs during bidding 8.
