The role will ensure compliance with company safety standards, statutory requirements, and safe work practices across employees, contractors, and site activities. Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor EHS / HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards at the project site. Conduct regular site inspections, safety rounds, and workplace audits to identify unsafe conditions and practices. Ensure implementation of HIRA, JSA, PTW, SOPs, and safe work procedures. Monitor safety compliance during construction, installation, electrical, mechanical, civil, and commissioning activities. Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety requirements by employees and contractors. Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, training, and awareness programs for employees and workmen. Monitor work-at-height, electrical safety, lifting & rigging, excavation, hot work, and confined-space safety requirements. Support incident / accident reporting, investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. Maintain site-level EHS documentation, inspection reports, permits, checklists, training records, and MIS. Conduct and coordinate emergency preparedness activities and mock drills.
