ROLE
– Deliver a range of wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure modelling projects, effectively managing tasks of various scales
– Conduct technical reviews of wastewater models, oversee model build and verification of sewer networks, oversee survey specifications and management
– Develop strategic solutions to mitigate flooding and reduce CSO spills
– Provide support to designers at concept outline and detailed design stages
– Review and enhance technical reports and presentations to uphold high-quality standards
– Resolve technical modelling challenges on projects and contribute to advancing the team’s technical expertise
– Ensure project components, including reports, drawings, specifications, and studies, comply with relevant standards and project requirements
– Collaborate closely with clients, providing clear explanations and ensuring they understand model outputs and processes
– Support and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
– Assist with preparation of bids including narratives, cost estimates and programmes
– Coordinate project elements, managing resource allocation, quality assurance, subcontractor interactions, and client feedback
– Work alongside specialists from other engineering and environmental disciplines to ensure project integrity
– Liaise effectively with the Project Director or Manager and the client to support project progress
– Foster a collaborative work environment by actively supporting the professional development of both yourself and your team, guiding junior members to reach their full potential

REQUIREMENTS
– 7 -12 years of experience
– Masters in Water Resources Management/Environment/Civil Engineering or Equivalent
– Advanced expertise in hydraulic modelling for a range of wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects
– Skilled in team and stakeholder coordination and management
– Proficient in InfoWorks ICM
– HADES knowledge would be advantageous
– Competent in using relevant GIS software packages
– Proven experience in model quality assurance procedures
– Strong report-writing skills
– Advanced abilities in spreadsheet-based data analysis
– Coding experience desirable
