ROLE
– Troubleshoot and repair equipment promptly to minimize downtime and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and spare parts used.
– Program PLCs as required for equipment maintenance.
– Monitor equipment performance, log maintenance data, load bank readings, and machine cycle counts, and support predictive maintenance by tracking recurring faults.
– Take daily power consumption readings from energy meters and record diesel consumption readings for DG sets; maintain logs for diesel stock levels and report unusual power consumption spikes or fuel inefficiencies.
– Conduct daily/weekly inspections of DG sets, check oil, coolant, battery voltage, and fuel levels, manage load switching between mains and DG, and assist in troubleshooting DG‑related faults.
– Maintain inventory of essential spare parts and tools, coordinate with stores for timely requisition, and ensure proper handling and storage of tools.
– Follow all safety protocols while handling high‑voltage and mechanical systems and ensure compliance with factory maintenance SOPs; conduct basic safety checks on electrical panels, ACBs, and compressed air systems.
– Assist in troubleshooting pneumatic system issues, including compressors and actuators, and support electrical maintenance such as transformer upkeep and ACB inspections, cable management, and checking for loose connections or overheating.
– Conduct basic maintenance of VRV, cassette AC units, and ventilation systems; assist in TFA and AHU unit filter cleaning and airflow adjustments.
– Fill maintenance logs and downtime reports, including shift‑based work and 24×7 emergency issue handling.
REQUIREMENTS
– Ability to work rotational shifts and be on‑call 24×7 for emergency support.
– Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
– Knowledge of PLC programming.
– Skills in equipment performance monitoring and data logging.
– Ability to record and analyze power consumption and diesel usage.
– Experience with DG set operation, inspection, and troubleshooting.
– Competence in spare parts and tools inventory management.
– Understanding of safety protocols for high‑voltage and mechanical systems and compliance with SOPs.
– Familiarity with pneumatic and electrical system maintenance, including compressors, actuators, transformers, and ACBs.

Shift Work & Emergency Support Work in rotational shifts (Day/Night) as per factory requirements. Be available on-call 24x7 to attend critical breakdowns and emergencies. Ensure quick response time for urgent machine failures affecting production. 2. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on key equipment: Cell grading, sorting, and scanning machines Automatic welding machines Charging/discharging load banks, test benches Leak test (IP67) machines Gantry cranes, pallet lifters, and stoppers HVAC VRV units, TFA, and AHU systems Troubleshoot and repair equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
