Role Summary
As the
Technical Platform
Associate
, you will play a critical role
in driving the successful execution and day-to-day operations of the
Mosambi
platform. Acting as the bridge between leadership, product strategy, engineering, and execution teams, you will ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into deliverables while
maintaining
the quality, reliability, and continuous evolution of the platform.
You will
execute
and coordinate a multidisciplinary team
comprising
Platform Developers, Platform Administrators, and Research Associates, ensuring that priorities are clearly defined, responsibilities are assigned, timelines are met, and deliverables
maintain
a high standard of quality. The role requires balancing technical understanding with strong people and project management skills to keep the platform running efficiently while enabling rapid experimentation, testing, and continuous improvement.
You will also oversee platform operations,
monitor
system health, coordinate feature development, validate research outputs, support user issues, and provide regular reporting to leadership through dashboards and progress updates. This position offers significant exposure to platform engineering, cloud technologies, product management, AI-enabled workflows, and digital ecosystem development, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow into senior product, technology, or engineering leadership roles
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Team Handling
& Execution Management:
Oversee
and
handle
a cross-functional team
comprising
Platform Developers, Platform Administrators, and Research Associates, ensuring that responsibilities are clearly assigned, priorities are effectively managed, and project milestones are achieved on time. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment by conducting regular team meetings, progress reviews, and mentoring sessions. Promote accountability, ownership, and continuous learning while ensuring seamless communication and coordination between technical, research, product, and business teams.
Platform Operations & Administration:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the
Mosambi
platform to ensure it
remains
stable, secure, and continuously available to users. Monitor platform health, performance, uptime, and user experience while coordinating routine maintenance, platform releases, and operational activities. Ensure platform configurations, workflows, user permissions, and administrative processes are properly
maintained, and oversee the
timely
resolution of customer support requests and operational issues to deliver a reliable platform experience.
Product Development & Feature Delivery:
Work closely with product leadership and engineering teams to translate business requirements into clear technical
deliverables. Guide developers throughout the implementation lifecycle by providing direction on feature development, enhancements, and platform improvements. Coordinate Proofs of Concept (POCs), pilot implementations, and internal experimentation, while reviewing completed work to ensure it meets business
objectives, technical standards, and quality expectations.
Review PRDs, data models, and technical specifications to ensure delivery aligns with platform architecture and business requirements.
Contribute to planning future platform capabilities and support the successful execution of the product roadmap.
Research Operations & Data Quality:
Support
and guide the research team in developing datasets, ecosystem directories, market intelligence, and other research outputs that support the
Mosambi
platform. Review and
validate
research deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and consistency while defining research priorities aligned with platform requirements and organizational
objectives. Ensure that all research outputs contribute meaningfully to
Mosambi's
value-added services and provide reliable information for platform users.
Testing, Quality Assurance & Release Management:
Coordinate
the planning and coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure new features are thoroughly tested before deployment. Monitor and manage bug reporting, issue tracking, enhancement requests, and release readiness by ensuring defects are documented, prioritized, and resolved efficiently. Maintain deployment documentation and support structured release management practices to ensure smooth and reliable platform updates.
Platform Monitoring & Reporting:
Develop and
maintain
dashboards that provide real-time visibility into platform performance, project progress, operational metrics, research activities, and team productivity. Prepare regular reports for leadership highlighting project status, milestones, platform health, key risks, and overall execution progress. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs),
identify
areas for improvement, and recommend process enhancements that increase operational efficiency and project delivery effectiveness.
Technical Coordination:
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, designers, researchers, and organizational leadership to ensure smooth execution of platform initiatives. Coordinate with external implementation partners whenever
required
while progressively building
Mosambi's
in-house engineering capabilities and reducing dependency on external vendors. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, implementation guidelines, workflows, and operational standards to support consistent and efficient platform development.
Required Qualifications
4-6
years' experience
Experience of
managing
early-career/fresher team members.
Demonstrated experience working on digital platforms, websites, SaaS products, or enterprise applications.
Experience coordinating software development projects from planning through execution.
Strong communication
and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to independently prioritize multiple initiatives and manage competing deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup or product environment.
