About Ananya

I work at the intersection of sustainability, systems thinking, and real-world decision-making.

I’m an independent sustainability consultant. My work focuses on helping organizations move from intent to implementation- translating sustainability goals into actionable strategies that actually hold up within the complexity of real systems.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked across corporates, SMEs, NGOs, and research contexts, primarily on life cycle assessments, carbon footprints, GHG inventories, and broader systems-level analysis. I’m particularly interested in how data, operational realities, and organizational priorities interact over time- and how that shapes what sustainability looks like in practice.

Alongside consulting, I also write on these themes through The Nuance Notebook, where I reflect on how sustainability is interpreted and sometimes misunderstood in real-world settings.

At the core, I see sustainability transformation as not just a technical challenge, but one that’s deeply tied to systems and mindsets.
