ROLE
– Define and execute Loom Solar’s technology, digital transformation, and information systems strategy.
– Develop a 3–5 year technology roadmap and scalable architecture aligned with business objectives.
– Identify and implement automation, AI, analytics, and emerging technologies for solar, manufacturing, distribution, and retail.
– Establish technology standards, governance, and security policies.
– Lead the digitization of end‑to‑end business processes from sales to service, eliminating manual reporting and creating digital workflows with clear ownership.
– Build technology solutions to support the dealer and sales network, including onboarding, KYC, enquiry management, lead allocation, ordering, inventory visibility, pricing, incentive calculation, performance dashboards, credit limits, payment tracking, territory management, and communication tools.
– Design and enhance the digital customer journey covering lead qualification, quotation, financing, order, installation, warranty, service, feedback, and referral programs.
– Create real‑time management information systems and dashboards for revenue, sales, dealer productivity, inventory, production, margin, working capital, collections, customer acquisition, service, employee productivity, manufacturing efficiency, and project execution.
– Develop an AI roadmap and implement AI solutions for sales assistance, customer support, dealer support, lead scoring, forecasting, demand planning, inventory optimization, production planning, predictive maintenance, pricing intelligence, collection prediction, productivity analytics, automated reporting, and knowledge management.
– Implement manufacturing technology for smart factories, including production planning, MES, OEE monitoring, quality tracking, machine monitoring, predictive maintenance, raw‑material planning, warehouse automation, barcode/RFID, traceability, energy monitoring, and real‑time dashboards.
– Build end‑to‑end supply‑chain and inventory visibility systems to improve demand forecasting, procurement, raw‑material availability, finished‑goods inventory, warehouse management, dispatch planning, logistics tracking, dealer stock visibility, slow‑moving inventory identification, and working‑capital optimization.
– Support financing marketplace and financial ecosystem with technology for credit applications, NBFC integrations, loan eligibility, digital documentation, application tracking, disbursement tracking, EMI/payment status, dealer financing, reconciliation, fraud detection, and data security.
– Own the cybersecurity framework, including data protection, access and identity management, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, business continuity, application security, vendor security, employee awareness, and regulatory compliance.
– Build and lead a high‑performance technology organization covering enterprise applications, product management, software development, data & analytics, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, IT support, automation, business intelligence, and digital transformation, fostering a culture of ownership, speed, innovation, and business impact.
– Continuously assess how technology can increase revenue, employee and dealer productivity, reduce costs, improve customer experience, enhance manufacturing efficiency, provide real‑time visibility, and enable rapid scaling.

The CIO will be responsible for defining and executing

technology, digital transformation and information
systems strategy
.
The CIO will work closely with the CEO and business
leaders to identify where technology can:

Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Strategy
Develop
Loom Solar's 3–5 year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Build a
scalable technology architecture capable of supporting rapid business

Identify
opportunities for automation, AI, analytics and digital transformation.
Establish

Evaluate

2. Digital Transformation
Lead the transformation of Loom from
