Senior Maintenance Engineer
ROLE
– Oversee maintenance of solar PV module manufacturing equipment
– Maximize machine uptime and achieve production targets through effective maintenance planning
– Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
– Plan preventive maintenance schedules and annual shutdown maintenance activities
– Manage installation, commissioning, and calibration of new manufacturing equipment
– Maintain utilities including air compressors, chillers, vacuum pumps, DG sets, transformers, LT panels, UPS systems, HVAC, and compressed air pipelines
– Lead a maintenance team of engineers and technicians
– Implement TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
– Coordinate with Production, Quality, Process Engineering, and Stores departments
– Manage spare parts inventory, vendor development, annual maintenance contracts, and maintenance budgets
– Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, electrical safety standards, and EHS requirements
– Monitor maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, downtime analysis, and maintenance costs
– Support automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
– Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
– 10+ years of experience in solar PV module manufacturing
– Experience with automated production lines and utility maintenance
– Expertise in preventive, predictive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance
– Knowledge of Solar PV Module Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance
