ROLE
– Own complete business performance of the assigned zone, including annual operating plan, monthly revenue targets, gross margin, product mix, market share, dealer/distributor productivity, collections, working capital, customer acquisition, team productivity, and market expansion
– Develop and execute a 3‑year to weekly business plan for the zone
– Deliver zonal revenue targets across primary, secondary, dealer, distributor, installer, EPC, institutional, key account, residential, C&I, and government/solar‑scheme sales
– Identify top growth opportunities by state, district, product, channel, and customer
– Manage profitability and P&L ownership through gross margin management, product mix optimization, discount and scheme control, channel margin management, cost‑to‑serve optimization, collection efficiency, inventory and credit control, and contribution margin improvement
– Build and expand a powerful dealer and distributor network: identify new markets, appoint and develop dealers/distributors, reactivate inactive dealers, improve repeat billing, ensure stock availability, and enhance dealer profitability
– Create and execute district‑wise market expansion strategies for strong, emerging, and white‑space markets to increase distribution, availability, visibility, demand, and conversion
– Drive product portfolio management to achieve optimal product mix across solar modules, inverters, lithium batteries, BESS, and new energy products based on customer, geography, and channel profitability
– Develop new business opportunities in PM Surya Ghar, PM‑KUSUM, C&I, EPC, IPP, open access, government projects, institutional customers, large installers, developers, industrial and commercial customers, building a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities
– Personally manage top strategic accounts, building relationships with large EPC companies, distributors, national/regional installers, developers, government institutions, industrial customers, and strategic channel partners
– Conduct competitive intelligence on pricing, product launches, dealer schemes, distributor margins, market promotions, strengths, weaknesses, and market share; develop strategies to win without unhealthy price wars
– Ensure timely collections, credit discipline, dealer credit limits, reduction of overdue receivables, healthy DSO, low bad debt, controlled inventory, and faster inventory rotation in coordination with Finance
– Coordinate with Supply Chain to guarantee product availability, correct mix, stock planning, reduction of stock‑outs and excess inventory, faster rotation, and proper allocation to markets
– Achieve 100% adoption of Loom’s sales technology and CRM, ensuring all opportunities, leads, pipelines, visits, orders, lost opportunities, competitor pricing, collections, dealer activity, and sales forecasts are captured
– Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly business reviews covering sales, orders, collections, critical issues, stock, performance of RSM/ASM, dealer activation, pipeline, competition, market expansion, revenue, gross margin, product mix, market share, channel productivity, inventory, team productivity, and AOP achievement
– Provide cross‑functional leadership by collaborating with CBO, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Product, Operations, Service, HR, Technology, Legal, and Credit/Lending to deliver a coordinated zone experience

REQUIREMENTS
– Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred
– 10–18 years of relevant business/sales experience managing a large geography and sales organization
– Industry experience preferred in solar, renewable energy, electrical, power, consumer durables, building materials, FMCG, telecom, automotive, or distribution‑led businesses
– Strong business leadership skills: P&L understanding, revenue ownership, gross margin management, strategic planning, market development
– Sales leadership abilities: channel development, distribution, dealer management, key account
