ROLE
– Monitor solar power plant performance remotely on a daily basis through designated monitoring portals.
– Support O&M contractor teams in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
– Respond promptly to plant emergencies as per the established emergency response procedures.
– Prepare and submit regular reports, including DGR, WGR, and MIS reports.
– Conduct periodic audits to ensure proper plant maintenance by O&M contractors.
– Drive initiatives to improve plant uptime and operational efficiency.
– Support routine and preventive maintenance activities across plant systems and equipment.
– Continuously monitor plant performance and undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
– Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the solar power plants within the assigned cluster.
– Ensure vendor site personnel are adequately trained for safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
– Conduct daily online monitoring of plant performance.
– Review daily generation reports and string-level performance.
– Coordinate weekly generation reviews with AM vendors and internal stakeholders.
– Prepare monthly MIS reports and support JMR/AMR activities.
– Execute any additional assignments delegated by the Regional Head – Asset Management.
– Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, company policies, HSE requirements, and conduct regular safety inspections across all sites within the cluster.
REQUIREMENTS
– Minimum 4 years of experience in power plant operations, preferably in the solar sector.
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
– Excellent communication, coordination, and process management skills.
– Understanding of contractual obligations related to plant operations and maintenance.
– Capability to manage dynamic situations and work under pressure when required.
– Willingness to travel to plant locations and corporate offices as needed.
– Basic knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 55001:2014 standards.
