ROLE
– Develop, debug, and optimize embedded firmware in C for microcontroller platforms such as STM32, ESP32, AVR, or similar.
– Interface and configure peripherals including UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, GPIO, PWM, and CAN.
– Support hardware bring-up, board testing, and firmware validation.
– Read and interpret circuit schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation.
– Perform firmware debugging using tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG/SWD debuggers, and serial monitors.
– Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following embedded software development best practices.
– Prepare and maintain firmware documentation, test reports, and release notes.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot system-level issues and ensure timely project delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
– Good understanding of Embedded Systems and microcontroller architecture.
– Hands-on experience with STM32, ESP32, AVR, or similar MCU platforms.
– Knowledge of communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and GPIO interfacing.
– Ability to read electronic schematics and understand digital and analog circuits.
– Experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and serial debugging tools.
– Familiarity with version control tools such as Git is preferred.
– Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
– Good communication and teamwork abilities.
– B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
– 2+ years of experience in embedded firmware or IoT development.
