ROLE
– Conduct site visits and assessments to understand customer requirements and existing infrastructure.
– Prepare technical BOQs, solution architecture diagrams, and detailed design documentation.
– Support pre‑sales activities, including requirement gathering, technical presentations, and client discussions.
– Develop and deploy data collection and integration flows from industrial systems using polling agents built on C++, Python, Node.js, and Node‑RED.
– Provide customer support, including remote troubleshooting and guidance on IoT system deployments.
– Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and robust IIoT solutions.
– Configure and troubleshoot networking components such as routers, switches, industrial gateways, and firewalls.
– Maintain and optimize communication flows and polling agents connecting industrial equipment.
– Work with industrial communication protocols and ensure reliable data acquisition from field devices.
– Travel to customer sites across India for assessments, implementation support, and technical discussions as required.
REQUIREMENTS
– Practical experience in creating BOQs, solution architecture, and supporting pre‑sales activities.
– Experience conducting site surveys and preparing technical assessment reports.
– Hands‑on experience with Node‑RED for workflow development and device integration.
– Working knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, routing, VLANs, VPNs, and industrial network troubleshooting.
– Familiarity with PLCs, DCS systems, SCADA, and industrial control systems.
– Experience with Linux‑based systems and command‑line tools.
– Customer‑facing experience involving technical support, troubleshooting, and solution deployment.
– Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
– Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
– Experience working on large‑scale Industrial IoT deployments.
– Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Knowledge of MQTT, REST APIs, and IoT gateways.
– Familiarity with cybersecurity practices for industrial networks.
– Experience with database systems and data visualization platforms.
– Understanding of edge computing and real‑time industrial data processing.
– Exposure to energy management, utilities, manufacturing, or process industries.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– 2–4 years of relevant experience in IoT, IIoT, Industrial Automation, Industrial Networking, or related domains.
– Customer‑first mindset with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong ownership and accountability for project deliverables.
– Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, and project support.
