ROLE
– Plan, design, and deploy network solutions that meet the organization’s needs.
– Set up end point configurations and deploy employee hardware
– Manage patching for servers, workstations, and network devices.
– Administer and troubleshoot servers and workstations, ensuring system reliability and performance.
– Monitor and maintain network performance daily, implementing enhancements as necessary.
– Implement and manage security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with best practices.
– Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments and audits.
– Diagnose and resolve network issues and outages swiftly.
– Provide technical support to end-users and assist with software and hardware issues.
– Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and policies.
– Respond to network incidents and perform vulnerability assessments and remediation.
– Generate reports on network performance, uptime, and security incidents.
– Work closely with other IT professionals and departments to support company-wide projects.
– Improve security monitoring and logging.
– Develop plan and train staff on network safety, new technologies, network protocols, and company network guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS
– 5+ years experience in network security
– A strong understanding of Cybersecurity compliance requirements in accordance to industry standards, such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0
– Familiarity with scripting languages for automation tasks
– Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure
– Security assessment of technical architecture and solutions
– Ability to pick company tools and protocols
– Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
– Hands-on experience in security systems, including vulnerability management, identity, and access management, security risk assessments, application testing, etc
– Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
– Strong attention to detail
– Proficient in network architecture, security protocols, and threat mitigation strategies
– Skilled in managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems while ensuring robust cybersecurity measures
– Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintaining network integrity and performance
