Exponent Energy is an Indian startup that offers a 15-minute rapid charging solution for electric vehicles (EVs) by developing an integrated system of standard lithium-ion e^pack batteries and e^pump chargers with off-board thermal management. Their technology enables full charging in 15 minutes, making it fast, efficient, and affordable by offloading the heat generated during charging to the e^pump, which uses refrigerated water to cool the battery pack. This approach makes the EV itself lighter and more affordable by eliminating the need for on-board cooling systems.
