ROLE
– Plan and perform desktop assessments for land grading and leveling activities using Autodesk Civil 3D and MS Excel software to achieve the desired site contours and slopes for designing storm water drainage systems, roads etc.
– Design land grading and earthwork plans, analyze and estimate cut and fill volumes, and optimize land development following the finished ground levels.
– Develop plans for infrastructure systems such as roads, utilities, stormwater management, and landscaping for developing large solar projects in India and overseas.
– Prepare detailed Engineering plans, drawings, and reports, adhering to Indian and American codes and standards.
– Review and analyse technical documents, such as drawings, specifications, and reports, for quality and compliance with project requirements
– Perform effective drainage designs, including slopes, ditches, swales, and retention basins, to manage water runoff and prevent erosion.
– Generate construction documents, including plan and profile sheets, details, and specifications, adhering to company standards and project requirements.
– Preparing cost estimates, Bill of materials, and material specifications
– Collaborate with team lead, project managers and other team members as per project requirements.
– Maintain the files and documentation as per company’s folder management
– Ability to work independently and meet the project timelines
REQUIREMENTS
– Education: BTech Civil / MTech in Water Resources Engineering
– Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering design.
– Experience and expertise in using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Excel software
– Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
– Knowledge of International codes shall be an added advantage
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
– Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
– Effective communication and teamwork skills
– Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
– Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, work independently or as part of a team, and continuously improve technical skills
– Good communication skills and ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and specifications

- Relevant experience in levelling grading (Cut Fill/Earthworks estimation) is preferred while stormwater drainage design and road design will be a plus
- Experience and expertise in using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Excel software
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of International codes shall be an added advantage
