ROLE
– Lead implementation of EH&S and compliance programs/initiatives across the region.
– Ensure Client and JLL EHS requirements are fully implemented and complied with.
– Lead and manage OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001 system requirements; sustain the system and support certification requirements.
– Conduct risk assessments and establish controls.
– Manage incident management processes.
– Ensure framework of training calendar and implementation across the region.
– Guide operations teams and clients on legislative changes to enable planning for continued legal compliance.
– Develop and implement processes for tracking regulatory compliances across the region.
– Coordinate with Corporate Risk Manager to devise new programs and continuous improvement.
– Implement best practice programmes across all managed locations.
REQUIREMENTS
– Knowledge of EH&S regulations and compliance frameworks.
– Experience with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 systems and certification processes.
– Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop control measures.
– Experience in incident management and reporting.
– Skills in designing and delivering training programs.
– Understanding of legislative changes affecting health, safety, and environmental compliance.
– Ability to develop and maintain regulatory compliance tracking processes.
– Strong coordination and collaboration skills, especially with risk management functions.
– Experience implementing best practice programmes in multiple locations.
– Ability to work on-site in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
– Availability to work 48 hours per week.
