– Proficiency with Microsoft Office with proven advanced skills in utilizing Excel
– Self-starter with the competence to take initiative and go beyond what the job situation requires
– Willingness to learn new skills and serve as support in a variety of capacities
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Excellent time management skills and the ability to change priorities to meet client and/or project requirements/deadlines
– Strong communication skills
– Ability to work across a variety of time zones

– AutoCAD 2014 or higher
– Knowledge of sciences and/or environmental industry

Overview

The Junior Environmental Scientist/Technician role will support Site Assessment & Remediation type projects by largely assisting with and learning fundamental tasks related to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments including groundwater monitoring and sampling and remedial excavation. This role is ideal for someone organized detail oriented and eager to grow their experience with multidisciplinary environmental teams.

Your role

Close collaboration with the assigned Project Manager as well as the project execution team.

About you

A post-secondary education in a related field (Certificate Diploma Degree etc.)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office with proven advanced skills in utilizing Excel
Self-starter with the competence to take initiative and go beyond what the job situation requires
Willingness to learn new skills and serve as support in a variety of capacities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent time management skills and the ability to change priorities to meet client and/or project requirements/deadlines
Strong communication skills
Ability to work across a variety of time zones
Bilingual (English/French)
