ROLE
– Ensure all fire pumps are in working condition and set to auto mode
– Verify pressure gauges are functional
– Check gong bell operation
– Monitor diesel pump engine oil condition and level
– Inspect diesel engine battery condition
– Keep all pump room valves open
– Maintain diesel tank level at least 80%
– Sign daily checklist as shift fire officer
– Ensure all first aid and fire fighting equipment is serviceable 24/7
– Maintain fire water tank level
– Verify beacon light on pumps is operational
– Ensure pumps are leakage‑free
– Keep all fresh air fans, smoke exhaust fans, pressurization fans, and normal exhaust fans in auto mode
– Conduct building evacuation drills
– Develop and execute emergency response plans for clients
– Ensure smooth traffic operation and manage guard duties and posts
– Enforce penalties for wrong parking and smoking
– Handle parking issues
– Train and brief guards on fire safety and security
– Inspect hot work areas and check PPE on site
– Issue various types of permits
– Inspect fit‑out areas for compliance with safety standards
– Perform equipment maintenance for fire and security systems
– Check indicator bulbs, mat in front of electrical panel, and drain condition
– Keep lift lobby and fire exits clear of obstacles
– Ensure hammer is in place for fire hose cabinets
– Document and maintain all equipment and system records
– Inspect terrace areas, staircases, and all emergency exits
– Conduct quarterly evacuation drills for clients
– Attend HSE meetings and address HSE issues
– Participate in near‑miss, incident, and accident investigations
– Take part in emergency exercises and ensure prompt incident investigations
– Attend safety community meetings and complete observations on time
– Promote safety procedures and awareness across the team
– Observe and report unsafe acts, following engineering guidelines and safety management system
– Ensure proper usage of LOTO/Isolation and appropriate permits
– Perform tasks using proper PPE
– Follow DLF HSE policy and participate in OH&S forums and meetings
REQUIREMENTS
– Ability to work on‑site in Gurugram
– Availability for a 48‑hour work week
– Knowledge of fire pump room operations and maintenance
– Understanding of smoke ventilation and pressurization systems
– Experience conducting evacuation drills and emergency response planning
– Familiarity with traffic management and guard supervision
– Competence in safety inspections, permit issuance, and PPE verification
– Ability to perform equipment maintenance for fire and security systems
– Knowledge of OH&S practices, LOTO procedures, and HSE policies
– Strong observation skills to identify and report unsafe acts
– Effective communication for training, briefing, and documentation purposes

Job Description
Fire Pump Room Responsibly:-
Insure that all pumps in working condition/Auto mode Ensure Pressure gauges are working Checking of Gong bell Check diesel pump engine oil condition/level Check diesel engine battery condition Ensure all valves of pump room should be in open condition Ensure diesel tank level should be 80% above Ensure daily checklist has to be signed by shift fire officer Ensure all First Aid and Fire Fighting Equipments are serviceable 24/7 Ensure fire water tank level Beacon light should be in working condition of pumps- check Ensure all the pumps should be leakage free
Smoke Ventilation System/Pressurization System Responsibly:-
Ensure all fresh air fans in auto mode Ensure all smoke exhaust fans in auto mode Ensure all pressurization fans are in auto mode
Ensure all Normal Exhaust fans are in auto mode
Common Responsibly:-
Conduct Evacuation drill of Building
Emergency response plan for clients in case of any emergency
Ensure Smooth Operation of Traffic
Check Guards duties and posts
Penalties for wrong parking and smoking work with without safety & Deposition of money
Handling of parking issues
Training/ briefing of Guards on Fire safety and security
Inspecting hot work area
Checking of PPE at the site
Issue Different Types of permits
Checking and inspection with safety standards of fit out area
Equipment maintenance of fire and security
To check All indicator bulbs
To check Mat in front of electrical panel
To check Drain condition
Appropriate signage’s (no smoking floor singes panic bar floor layout exit signage).
Lift lobby clear ( all fire exits clear from any obstacles )
To break hammer in place for FHC
Documentation check and maintenance of all equipments and systems
Checking of terrace area and staircase
Checking of all emergency exits in the building
Conducting Evacuation drill of clients on quarterly basis
Attending HSE- Meetings and addressing HSE issues
Participating in all near miss incident and accident investigations
Participating in emergency exercises
Requesting that all incidents are investigated promptly and take appropriate steps for preventing recurrence
Attend safety community meetings
Ensure so observation completion on time
Spread safety procedures & safety awareness across down team
ALL fire line valves in open condition (hydrant line and sprinkler line) to be checked
To be observant towards any unsafe act & prevent the same Bring the same to the notice of management as required and follow engineering guidelines and Safety management system
OH&S Responsibility
To ensure proper usage of LOTO / Isolation & proper permits
To work and perform task using proper PPE.
