ROLE

– Liaise with third-party vendors, ISPs, and hardware suppliers to ensure SLAs are met and procurement is handled efficiently
– Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of Linux-based server environments and Windows servers
– Ensure high availability and optimal configuration of web servers and reverse proxies like Nginx
– Design, implement, and routinely test backup and disaster recovery protocols to ensure zero data loss and maximum uptime
– Manage and optimize LAN/WAN architecture, routing, switching, and VPN setups
– Implement robust firewall rules, monitor network traffic for anomalies, and ensure system-wide compliance with security best practices and patch management
REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
– 5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or DevOps, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity
– Deep expertise in Linux system administration and command-line utilities
– Experience managing physical security infrastructure and optimizing video feed bandwidth
– Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor during critical system outages
– Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical roadblocks to non-technical stakeholders
– A collaborative mindset focused on building a resilient and self-sufficient team
