ROLE
– Maintain regular daily communication with team members through email and phone to ensure smooth operations.
– Monitor and track team members’ day-to-day activities, providing guidance and support as required.
– Manage and monitor employees’ working hours and service schedules using internal tools.
– Coordinate with front-end hubs, facilities and end-disposal locations to ensure operational continuity.
– Ensure trailers, transportation schedules and operational activities are planned and executed effectively.
– Prepare and manage daily and weekly operational plans for the team.
– Coordinate with HR, Transportation Compliance, H&S and other stakeholders as required.
– Manage and support incident reporting, investigation and resolution.
– Review open requisitions, scheduled interviews and onboarding status of new hires in coordination with HR/TA.
– Review and self-audit driver payroll, including company drivers and owner-operators, where applicable.
– Ensure payroll information is accurate and aligned with actual work completed; review and approve payroll-related items.
– Monitor employee training reports and follow up with team members on training completion, due dates and compliance requirements.
– Participate in daily/weekly conference calls covering freight, special projects, major facilities and other operational priorities.
– Conduct regular team meetings and communicate business priorities, operational updates and expectations.
– Monitor operational controls and ensure they are functioning effectively.
