– Develop a 3‑year BESS product roadmap covering residential, hybrid inverter‑battery combos, C&I, AC‑coupled, DC‑coupled, modular, cabinet, containerized, and >1 MWh systems
– Identify market opportunities across rooftop solar, residential backup, C&I peak shaving, load shifting, demand management, solar self‑consumption, diesel generator replacement, microgrids, telecom, EV charging, open‑access projects, solar EPC, captive power, and renewable energy projects
– Own the complete BESS product‑development lifecycle from customer requirement to PRD, technical specification, cell selection, pack design, BMS, PCS, EMS, prototype, testing, certification, pilot, and commercial launch
– Prepare detailed product specifications covering battery chemistry, cell format, capacity, voltage, energy, C‑rate, DoD, efficiency, cycle life, temperature range, IP rating, communication protocols, BMS architecture, PCS rating, EMS functionality, thermal management, fire protection, safety systems, remote monitoring, and warranty
– Understand LFP/LiFePO₄ technology, lithium‑ion battery architecture, cell‑to‑module‑to‑pack‑to‑rack‑to‑system hierarchy, BMS, SOC/SOH, cell balancing, thermal runaway, degradation, protection, contactor, fuses, and communication architecture; LFP‑based stationary storage experience preferred
– Work with engineering and inverter teams to integrate battery, BMS, PCS, hybrid inverter, solar, grid, load, and EMS; define AC/DC architecture, power ratings, charging/discharging power, grid synchronization, grid‑forming/following, black‑start, backup, parallel and multi‑rack operation, and communication protocols
– Identify, qualify, and manage OEM/suppliers for lithium cells, battery‑pack OEMs, BMS, PCS, EMS/software, HVAC, fire suppression, and BESS enclosures; evaluate on technology, quality, cost, reliability, warranty, certification, capacity, lead time, service, and financial stability; develop scorecards and conduct quarterly reviews
– Own product economics: track cell, pack, BMS, PCS, EMS, cabinet/container, HVAC, fire safety, installation, logistics, warranty, and service costs; develop BOM,
