Job description Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with strong experience in manual testing and basic exposure to automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications, with familiarity in automation tools like Appium for mobile and any web automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities * Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure product quality * Understand requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data * Execute functional, regression, and UI testing * Identify, log, and track bugs using defect tracking tools * Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues * Assist in automation testing for web and mobile applications * Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using tools like Appium or any other mobile automation tools * Participate in test planning and review meetings Required Skills * Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) * Hands-on experience in manual testing (web and mobile applications) * Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts * Exposure to mobile and web automation tools * Familiarity with any programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred) * Understanding of API testing is a plus. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment * Knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.) Soft Skills * Good communication and teamwork skills * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies * Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
