Job Description Group Company: Praj Engineering and Infra Limited Designation: Shift Engineer Maintenance Office Location: Site Position description: Responsible for installation, repairs, maintenance and upkeep of infrastructure within the plant. · Monitor preventive maintenance & breakdown with a strong focus on the continuous improvement of work practices · Develop the skill and knowledge of other maintenance staff · Work with other departments ensuring that the facility complies with relevant legislative , safety and engineering standards for continued operations Primary Responsibilities: Develop maintenance schedules for the facility. Manage & skilling the maintenance team to carry out important maintenance of plant and machinery. Manage financial aspects of the maintenance and foster a work culture of valuing constant improvement and productivity. Ensuring the facility is a safe working environment by having well maintained and safe to use facility and in compliant with OH&S standards. Safety issues if any must be quickly addressed . Maintenance(preventive & predictive) managementrole in chemical process industry 2. Maintaining, installing and repairing of industrial equipment like pumps, Decanter/Valves/Mechanical Seals/Blowers/Fire System etc. 3. Developing maintenance schedules and managing within the budgets. Industry: Distillery/Ethanol Role: Shift Engineer Years of experience: 5-8 Year Required Competencies: 1. Leadership & Planning abilities 2. Excellent written & verbal communication skills 3. Ability to work in fast paced environment and rapidly changing priorities within the annual maintenance budgets 4. Strong working knowledge of mechanical and engineering principles , equipments ( static & Rotary) used in the facility 5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to analyse, solve and explain the complex problems in a simple way 6. A strong working knowledge of the regulatory & safety requirements of the facility.
