ROLE
– Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements across all workplace operations.
– Maintain and manage the Occupational Health Centre.
– Conduct daily shop-floor safety inspections to identify and eliminate unsafe conditions and acts.
– Organize safety induction programs for new employees and periodic safety training programs.
– Conduct toolbox talks, safety awareness campaigns, and safety committee meetings.
– Develop and implement safety guards and machine safety systems.
– Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed investigation reports.
– Ensure 100% compliance with Telangana Government statutory requirements.
– Obtain and renew Factory License, Explosive License, Labour License, Pollution Control Board Consents, and other regulatory approvals.
– Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns to relevant authorities.
– File environmental returns including Form-3, Form-4, Form-5, Form-8, Form-10, and other applicable reports.
– Implement and monitor waste management systems in compliance with PCB regulations.
– Verify that scrap disposal vendors possess valid PCB authorizations.
– Manage work permit systems and risk assessments for critical activities.
– Develop emergency response plans and conduct mock drills, firefighting, and first-aid training programs.
– Ensure fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, public address systems, and fire detection systems remain operational and periodically tested.
– Monitor safety-critical equipment and coordinate AMC servicing and maintenance.
– Ensure statutory fitness certification of lifting equipment, compressors, and pressure vessels through competent authorities.
– Implement and maintain ISO standards and other certified management systems.
– Establish and sustain 5S practices across the workplace.
– Conduct internal safety audits and track corrective actions.
– Prepare weekly, monthly, and management MIS reports on EOHS performance.
– Drive safety culture initiatives and continuous improvement programs across the organization.
– Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, vendors, regulatory authorities, and management teams.
– Build strong employee engagement and promote a positive EOHS culture throughout the organization.

REQUIREMENTS
– Diploma or Degree in Industrial Safety recognized by the State Technical Board.
– 5 to 8 Years Experience in manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, defense, EMS, or industrial environments.
– Hands-on knowledge of Factory Act, PCB regulations, hazardous waste management, and safety management systems.
– Experience in implementing EOHS best practices and driving safety culture initiatives.

Job Purpose
To ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally
compliant workplace by implementing statutory requirements, safety management
systems, environmental standards, and occupational health practices across the
organization. The role is responsible for driving safety culture, regulatory
compliance, risk management, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement
initiatives.
Educational Qualification
Diploma
or Degree in Industrial Safety recognized by the State Technical Board.
Additional
certifications in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) or ISO Management
Systems are preferred.
Preferred Experience
5 to
8 Years Experience in manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, defense, EMS,
or industrial environments.
Hands-on
knowledge of Factory Act, PCB regulations, hazardous waste management, and
safety management systems.
Experience
in implementing EOHS best practices and driving safety culture
initiatives.
