ROLE
– Lead and oversee EHS / HSE activities across multiple projects and sites within the assigned region.
– Develop, implement, and monitor regional EHS policies, procedures, standards, and systems.
– Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
– Conduct and monitor EHS audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews across sites.
– Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate risk mitigation and preventive measures.
– Drive incident / accident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective & preventive actions.
– Monitor site-level implementation of Safety Management Systems, SOPs, PTW, JSA, HIRA, emergency preparedness, and safety protocols.
– Ensure effective implementation of EHS requirements during construction, commissioning, and project execution activities.
– Develop and conduct EHS training, awareness programs, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns for employees, contractors, and project teams.
– Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with EHS standards and statutory requirements.
– Track key EHS performance indicators and prepare MIS, dashboards, and management reports for senior leadership.
– Lead emergency preparedness, mock drills, and response systems across project locations.
– Collaborate with Project, Construction, Operations, HR, and other functional teams to embed safety into business operations.
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the organization’s EHS culture and safety performance.
– Provide regular updates to senior management on EHS performance, critical risks, incidents, compliance gaps, and corrective actions.

REQUIREMENTS
– B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
– Post Graduate Diploma / Degree from RLI / CLI preferred
– Relevant professional certifications in EHS / HSE
– Relevant experience in EHS / HSE, preferably within Renewable Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Construction, or similar industries
– Strong EHS / HSE leadership and people management skills
– Excellent knowledge of Safety Management Systems and statutory compliance
– Strong understanding of HIRA, JSA, PTW, audits, incident investigation, and emergency response
– Experience in managing multiple sites / regional operations
– Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to lead EHS teams and influence project / site leadership to achieve safety objectives
