Role: Process Quality Engineer (Charger)
Department: New Product Development     Location: Bengaluru, India     Experience: 3+ Years
Your Team:
You'll be working with New Product Development — a group that runs on coffee and an infectious passion for building products that have never been built before. Our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station), which unlock 15-minute rapid charging.

What you’ll own:
We are seeking a Process Quality Engineer to own manufacturing and build-stage quality for our charger product line, ensuring build processes consistently deliver on design intent from PFMEA through end-of-line testing and field commissioning.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing quality experience, strong RCA instincts, and comfort traveling to installation sites to see products through to operational readiness.
What you’ll do:
Process Quality & PFMEA
Apply PFMEA to charger manufacturing and assembly processes
Identify and mitigate build-stage quality risks before they impact production
Define End-of-Line (EOL) test requirements and acceptance criteria
Build Quality & RCA
Run root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) on issues surfaced during build and manufacturing
Track corrective actions to closure with manufacturing and design teams
Translate design specifications into manufacturing test cases
Field Commissioning
Travel to installation sites to commission chargers post-installation
Certify chargers as ready for operation following commissioning checks
Capture and report field commissioning issues back to design and process teams
Continuous Improvement
Support process audits and layered process audits (LPA)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce build defects
What you’ll bring:
Education qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or process quality engineering
Working knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, and EOL test definition
Familiarity with RCA methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone)
Willingness to travel for site commissioning work
Preferred Experience (Good to Have):
Prior experience in electronics or power product manufacturing
Exposure to EV charger or field commissioning work
Familiarity with IATF 16949 process documentation
