Department: New Product Development Location: Bengaluru, India Experience: 5+ Years
Your Team:
You'll be working with New Product Development — a group that runs on coffee and an infectious passion for building products that have never been built before. Our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station), which unlock 15-minute rapid charging.
Our philosophy:

Believe in the team, the process, and through failures.
Build fast, build passionately, build to simplify.
Own it like you mean it.
What you’ll own:
We are seeking a Build Quality Engineer to own factory-floor quality during battery, product, and vehicle-integration prototype builds — catching deviations early, driving root cause on build issues, and certifying builds ready for testing.

Build Certification
Certify assemblies and vehicles as ready before they proceed to testing
Support closure of build-related non-conformances before test handoff
Cross-functional Collaboration
Interface with the design and process quality teams on recurring build issues
Escalate patterns and systemic issues to the Function Lead
What you’ll bring:
Education qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
1-3 years of experience in prototype or manufacturing builds
Working knowledge of deviation tracking and basic RCA tools
Comfortable working hands-on, daily, on the factory floor
Preferred Experience (Good to Have):
Experience in EV or automotive prototype build environments
Exposure to both battery and vehicle assembly (vehicle preferred)
What matters to us:
Quality of work
Structured problem-solving
Dissatisfaction with mediocre work
Ability to multi-task and handle a dynamic working environment
Resilient attitude to bounce back after failing
